What's the cutoff time for same-day mulch delivery?
Order by 2 PM on weekdays for same-day delivery throughout most of Kitsap County. Larger orders or addresses farther from our Gig Harbor yard (Bremerton, Poulsbo, Kingston) may need an earlier morning order to make a same-day window. Call to confirm if timing matters.
Do you deliver on weekends?
Saturday delivery is available by advance booking. Sundays are reserved for emergencies. Spring weekends fill up fast, so if you're planning a Saturday landscape project, schedule the delivery a few days ahead.
Will the delivery truck damage my driveway?
Standard asphalt and concrete driveways handle our trucks fine. Older asphalt with cracks, gravel driveways, and pavers can be vulnerable to a loaded truck's weight, especially in wet conditions. Tell us about driveway condition when you order so we can plan an appropriate drop point.
Can you deliver mulch to my back yard?
Standard delivery is dump-on-driveway. Our trucks won't drive on lawns (too wet, leaves ruts) or through narrow gates. If you need mulch placed in a back yard, the practical options are: dump on driveway and wheelbarrow, ask if your access road or alley can fit our truck, or hire a landscaper who can reposition material.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
We strongly prefer it. Drivers want to confirm the dump location, check access, and answer any questions. If you absolutely can't be home, leave clear written instructions on where to dump and confirm payment is sorted in advance.
Can you spread the mulch instead of just dumping it?
Standard delivery is dump-only. For larger projects we can refer you to local Kitsap landscapers who handle spreading. Plan on 2 to 4 hours of labor per cubic yard if you're spreading by hand, faster if you have a wheelbarrow and helper.
