Minus products contain the rock plus the dust and fines from crushing. The fines lock together when compacted, making these the right choice for driveways, road base, and pathways.

Behind any retaining wall over 2 feet, you need free-draining backfill: 1-1/2 clean or 3/4 clean. Hydrostatic pressure from soggy backfill is the most common cause of retaining-wall failure in our wet climate.
Erosion Control
For waterfront slopes, ditch armoring, and cut banks, 2-4 inch quarry spalls placed over geotextile is the standard. Larger riprap for shoreline armoring is available by special order: call us with your project specs.
